Septic System Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems (SSTS)

Our licensed, professional, and skilled team of septic designers and installers has completed thousands of septic systems, from the most basic to complex installations that require pre-treatment.

  • Septic System design, installation, and repair
  • Septic System repair, including lift pump repairs and replacements, electrical controls, and plugged, collapsed or damaged septic lines
  • Expansion and replacements of septic systems for existing homes

If you are selling your home or are having issues with your current septic system, we can troubleshoot the problem and find a cost-effective solution to meet the specific needs of your project. Every property and project is different, and we are here to help ensure a smooth process for installing or repairing your septic system.

The Process

If you have a septic system that has been deemed “non-compliant” by a licensed septic inspector, the next step is to have a septic design completed. We can meet the primary septic designer on-site to help determine the best location for the septic system and provide an estimate for the work to be completed.

Septic system location is determined primarily by the soil conditions, elevations of the property and the waste that will be processed by the septic system (usually determined by the # of bedrooms in a residential home).

Due to the short construction season in Minnesota, most designers book appointments for an initial site visit about 3–4 weeks in advance and will take an additional week to complete the design after the site visit.

If you already have a completed septic design, please contact us to submit the design. We will schedule a time to meet you at the site to go over the plan and provide an estimate for the installation of your new septic system.

After receiving your approval to install your septic system, we will hold a spot on our calendar for your project as we apply for a permit with the county or city in your area. Typically, the permit process in Washington County will take 4–6 weeks. Once we receive an approved permit from the governing body for your area, we will finalize installation dates and begin your project. Most residential septic system installations take 1–2 days.

Commercial Septic Systems:

We have coordinated and installed several commercial septic systems for campgrounds, schools, nuclear power plants, yacht clubs, and mobile home parks. For more information on these projects, please contact us.
